Our ability to perceive the world is based on a few factors
but one of them is probably our ability to create visual representations for phenomena, map out expectations of their transformations, and observe this being fulfilled
there is likely a manner in which a geometric resolution occurs from which we derive particular meanings
or meaning itself
now, if we are overburdened with complexity, as what might be experienced during an overloaded psychedelic experience, this would impede our ability to maintain the producion of the visual manifestations which we correlate with our perceived experience
thus this would send us into deep fear
