Car Metaphor

Model

Car { Engine { int power } DriveTrain { int current } Transmission { } Wheels { bool turning } }

  • Engine produces power
  • Drive train directs power to wheels
  • Tires make contact

Engine

  • UN, WHO, CFR
  • Global NGOs
  • Commitments, Agreements, Resolutions, Mandates

Drivetrain

  • Institutions
  • States and administrative departments
  • Universities, Corporations, Non-profits, Political Parties

Wheels

  • Functionaries
  • Activists outside institutions (often subsidized)
  • "Do the work"
  • Corporate strivers (status + bonuses)

Commentary

  • Wheels spin according to power (follow orders)
  • Cultists and the "Current Thing" activate through mass lines

WEF

  • Social club for big players
  • Ultra elite
  • Must conform one's interests

Process

  • Generate alignment for collaboration (primary)
  • Make commitments (secondary)

Agenda

  • Influence through the forum to get large actors working in concert
  • Pursue moderately corrupt interests

Transmission

  • WEF works like the transmission
  • Penetrating cabinets (transfering power to the drivetrain)
  • Makes use of the power (the UN Agenda)

Ending the WEF

  • Make it toxic to participate in
  • Career ending association

Other Car Damage

  • Cut the fuel line: US withdraws from UN

Who Drives it?

Such things are formed through incentive structure, so it's likely that those with the greatest assets have influence. (Large landowners?)
