# Journey
Journey onward, as the quest is ongoing, and the dragon not yet slain. This began early, with an early set of memories.

1. Football Stairs
2. Dream/nightmare of father's death
3. Vaccination at doctor's office

Why the football?
I was playing with my brother - the two of us tossing a football to and fro, with myself at the top of the basement stairs. We have 11 yeras between us, and I always greatly admired and sought to imitate my brother as I was convinced that he always had deep insight and embodied the pinnacle of cool. I always imagined that women would be unable to resist him.

Being at the bottom was natural for my brother to assume - given that he was older and stronger. The conesquence of this configuration was that the football was propelled upwards with great force, striking me in the face. I felt somewhat devastated and immediately abandonned our cooperative activity, running down the hall and into the kitchen, where my mother's familiar figure was present, preparing what was likely to be our supper for the evening.

With tears in my eyes, I recounted my version of the events to my reassuring mother, who liekly knew well enough not to take my complaints too seriously.

# Strength
Why Strength?

Create strength through quality of choice and example/demonstration. It propgates forth and creates a better condition for all with greater strength, the conditions of existence can be potentiated for the greatest benefit for our expereince, and this increases the rate of progress and discovery, bringing mankind towards an understanding for the nature and purpose of existence, or even the clarity to understand what precisely is most worth focusing on with the limited attr.? significant and growing portion of time that is generally attributed to the individual human experience.

# Exotic Harmonies
Their passions are so clearly defined. How to describe?

Write harmony as you see it. If you can conceive of and envision an orchestra playing a piece together you can immediately note geometric expressions occurring as transformations on a time scale. These transformations are predicated on the framework of possible actions which are naturally parametrized by direction and distance. If we are able to independently verify the melody through perceived visual transformation, then the next step is to observe separate melodies as visual transformations experienced concurrently on the same frame of perception. If these concurrent expressions are, in fact, observed, then the next and very important step is to observe a relative value for distance, leading to a new problem: *Validating Concurrent Transformation*.

## Validating Concurrent Transformation
*Expressing harmony (together) and melody (independence) as observed by a single human visual frame.*

### Background
If we have made it to the point of pursuing this study, it is because we have assumed the following:
1. We experience the perception of visual transformation, which expresses melody
2. We can observe concurrent melodies as distinct visual transformations

### Description
The problem arises:

#### A
The relative distance of one concurrent melody to another is deemed legitimate in that we are able to verify that the distance between them expresses the same pitch valence in proportion to perceived changes within one melody.

#### B
From A we can derive the utility necessary to pursue study of composing harmony through visual perception in real time

At what point does technology reach a level of capability such that the average citizen can affect consequences so severe that their personal freedom should be limited?

Should the government regulate information services, such as search engines and social media platforms, to ensure taht the information is sanitized to meet the standards of public safety and current day politic?

- Climate Change: the great flood
- Transgenderism: the tower of Babel

Recurring because of the combined factors always present in our circumstance. That is to say the following:

1. The threat of Totalitarianism
2. The tragedy of mortal mind

We constantly work through complex combinations of sensations and life needs (be they simple, such as sustenance (which is not actually simple at all), or a deeper sense of meaning).

How could I have been more fortunate than to have found someone who is not my favourite person merely for the experience we have had and the bonds that have been formed, but for the exact qualities of character that I most recognize and admire.

Life is truly astonishing as it not only provides endless opportunity as to choose from and act upon, but creates the best opportunity for the best actions to take place and ideas to be developed, by evoking the most apt and highest potency of connections to come to fruition, making the sense of randomness disspate to reveal a perfect sequence of thoughts, events and pair bonding.

# Showing Off
Ubiquitous phenomenon whereby people suddenly offer up some new information about themselves, unprovoked, and not even necessarily relevant to the subject at hand, and use it to draw attention tot ehir skill and level fo accomplishment or status.

In a more homogenous society, this can be seen to bring reversence, but for someone with a different value structure, even one that is equally superficial, it does not yield the same effect

In particular: frugality in that both my immigrants were somewhat religious immigrants who had grown up during the war. Father specifically from a culture that had more of a predisposition to superficial demonstration and bragging of wealth, perhaps less inclined to value such behaviours as they had to begin their lives anew several times after immigrating, thus they observed a lot of poverty and absorbed life lessons that are arguably more deeply etched than the quick flash of enjoyment and acknowledgment that comes with flashing cash.

## Introduction
Marcuse thought much of radicalizing the intelligentsia, and this naturally falls within a particular age range. The age where one has not yet galbanized their beliefs of the world is primed for passion in pursuit, and has enough naivety to believe that they might suddenly discover a path to their desires (success, fame, attention, reverence, etc).

Many will repeat the common downplaying/dismissive statement "oh, racism is part of life and history, it makes perfect sense and is, in fact, a moral good for us to learn about this in a society". But what is ultimately being expressed there?
- We are just studying history
- We are improving awareness/fairness
- We are taking steps to bring into light that which has been wrongfully avoided for far too long

## History
James Lindsay shared an entertaining meme on this, and it was drawing attention tot he fact that teachers' unions have been deflecting and dismissing the allegations that they are teaching CRT.

Though they have insisted that a particular philosophy and system of thought has not been present in that environment, they don't make even the slightest bit contentious as to whether they themselves support the teachings of that philosophy.

Though they have insisted that a particular philosophy and system of thought has not been present in that environment, they don't make even the slightest bit contentious as to whether they themselves support the teachings of that philosophy. Yes, they both love and support the philosophy, proclaim that you don't know what the philosophy is, and that your inability to appreciate the philosophy is evidence of your depravety. And, of course, such philosophy is not found in their environment (but wouldn't it be great if it was?).

So, then, let us make the case that it is indeed history (simply). We wouldn't be having these discussions if not for the past!

## It's Just History
We know that injustices occur and that these exist in the form of humans subjecting one another to oppression. We know that the perceiving one another as someting other than ourselves can be the result of many things, but that the moment we have a preconceived means of qualifying someone as being outside the self, we are implicitly declaring the existence of groups -> at the most basic level, we are describing the group of persons who are not me.

Then, what does it take to reference that there are groups, or a group, of people who are not me, and who also deserve treatment by me which is equivalent to treatment that I would extend to myself?

## Othering as Inequity
Does it mean that there could theoretically be a group of persons who are not I who deserve the same treatment as I?

As soon as we establish that, we have the criteria sufficient for othering. If we can demonstrate othering on the basis of race, we can establish racial oppression.

But then, is that what CRT teaches? The history of othering on the basis of race, and what it means to ensure it happens no more?

CRT asserts that the phenomenon of othering o the basis of race occurred through the use of language and edification of structures, and taht this occurred so pervasively that it can be found in every aspect of society. Furthermore, it asserts that all of us taht have grown up in this society have been afflicated with racist beleifs, perceptions and habits, and that our very ability to participate and succeed in society is predicated on our maintenance and reinforcement of systemic racism. That we conceive of the world using language nad constructs of a racist society make ti such not only that we are unable to truly know when racism is manifesting, but that we haven't the concepts necessary to imagine what a society would look like without racism, thus we shoul ddedicate ourselves to anti-racism until such conceptions are possible.

## Implications
But does that really satisfy? You are forced to concede that you yourself of being guilty and complicit with anything that is alleged, even if only at the systemic level, because all that is required to qualify it is merely any generally agreed upon historical precedent which leans in the same direction. If a present-day artifact need-be appended, any disparity will do, as surely no perfect distribution can even be fond, nor need there be one, as the Critical Theorist has already claimed that no model or description for an ideal society can even be conceived of and shared.

And the guilt is not so much yours as you are already of an age where you will never be expected to be a true believer. In fact, you likely already know yourself quite well, and that stands in the way of you being able to become the most reliable foot soldier for the revolution/justice/sustainability/etc...

So, ten, who si more appropriate for the revolution? Well, that is perfectly simple -> Your Children! Not having yet been fully poisoned with the norms and expectations of the oppressive society, there is still a chance for them. But what are the norms?

## The Norms
If the norm in society is oppression, and the development of society has been one characterized by hierarchies that are oppressive, then cotrolling the subcomponents without those hierarchies is necessary to seek justice.

Justice for all? well, not everyone gets justice, so we don't live in a democracy, we live in a pseudodemocracy (antithesis), so we need a synthesis of this.
If democracy means self-government of free people with justice for all, then the realization of democracy would presuppose abolition of the existing pseudodemocracy."

-In the dynamic of corporatism, the fight for democracy thus tends to assume anti-democratic forms, and to the extent to which the democratci decisions are made in parliaments on all levels, the opposition will tend to become extra-parliamentary. The movement to extend constitutionally professed rights and liberties, the daily life of the oppressed minorities, even the movement to preserve existing rights and liberties will become subversive to the degree to which it will meet a stiffening resistance of the majority against an exaggerated interpretation and application of equality and justice."

This logic is playing exactly right now under these so-called equity and racial and other social justice movements. So what do we have?

Thesis: democracy antithesis: pseudodemocracy (because of power dynamics).
Synthesis: Ideal Democracy (Marcuse wrote about this elsewhere. Communists also refer to this - position themselves as ideal democracy because, for them, if everybody's not perfectly equal (same money and opportunity) you can't have true democracy, because certain people can't speak up as much, they aren't going to be able to get the polls as readily, won't have the same ability to participate or the same access. Not a true democracy until there's perfect equity).

-They subvery language -> democracy meets this argument (its antithesis), so we have a synthesis of an "ideal" democracy, but the adjective gets dropped so that when these people speak of democracy, or tolerance, they mean not regular tolerance, but discriminating tolerance. Democracy presupposing that we're in a communist-like situation before it counts. This is how their language games are constructed. This is why they have so much double-speak.

The neo-Marxists are certainly going to have been tied up with this idea of the dialectic, regardless of how much they associate with Marx. The dialectic is applied to the dialectic in a reflexive pattern which concentrates it.

"Students argued Giroux "need to learn to be able to move outside of their own frame of reference, so they can question the legitimacy of a given fact, concept or issue". Furthermore, he contended marshalling the support of MArxist literary theorist Frederic Jameson students "have to learn how to perceive the very essence of what they are examining by placing it critically within a sysstem of relationships that give it meaning". For Giroux it was important that contextualization of information be embedded in a pedagogy that takes seriously the social relationships of the classroom."

Critical pedagogy begins from a different set of assumptions, rooted in the Neo-Marxian literature on Critical Theory commonly associated with the Frankfurt School. Here, the Critical Learner is someone who is empowered and motivated to seek justice and emancipation. Critical pedagogy regards the claims that students make in regards to social justice issues not as propositions to be assessed for their truth value, but expressions of power that function to reinscribe and perpetuate social inequalities. They fail because the critical thinker's toolkit is commmonly invoked in particular setttings at particular times to reassert power. Those adept with the tools often use them to restore an order that assures their comfort. They can be habitually invoked to defend our epistemic home terrains.*

#### Implications for Pedagogy
Critical Pedagogy for her is based in Neo-Marxism. Echoes Marcuse virtually perfectly, and talks about teaching people to think in ways that are emancipatory and empowering, in perfect line with the dialectic process as outlined by Marcuse.

In education we see this again under Critical Pedagogy. The woke doesn't find it enough to use the dialectical method as its operating system, it must install that OS in children. They don't use education to indoctrinate, they use education to program and reprogram. They're not teaching you to accept a particular doctrine uncritically (though it happens), they are teaching you to think in a particular way (Dialectically). Explicitly stated by Henri Giroux - father of Critical Pedagogy: "In other words, students must be taught to think Dialectically".

This is the heart of the interrelated worldviews seeking to "liberate" the world. It comes from Hegel. The first to consciously apply it (in the words of the Maxists on Marxists.org).

### Quick recap
Critical Race Theory - An Introduction: "And so the dialectic progresses"
This piece was framed out in essentialism vs anti-essentialism (philosophical program).
The section in which this phrase appears is in a section in the book analyzing how Critical Race theory interacts with the ideas of essentialism and anti-essentialisms. Obvious thesis / Antithesis. Its thesis antithetical in its construction. Essentialism vs its negation.

So what is the woke synthesis, as forwarded by Critical Race Theory? Structural determinism. Structure of society. Hypothesis of structural determinism is the doctrine that the structure of society determines an essential lived experience, that's not essentialist because it nevertheless hides in a social constructed mode of thought.

Race, under CRT, is a social construct. It can't be essential to the person, dodging essentialism, but it's articulated by Crenshaw that race is sociopolitically imposed by white supremacist society so that the lived experience of being a particular race in that system becomes essential. Race is not essential, in the sense that we believe in social constructivism, but the experience of being a race in a particular power structure where that race is imposed by that power structure, does define what it means to be a person in that identity category. Patrician Collins said thte same thing about Black Women. Your lived experience becomes essential.

Via the dialectic, CRT gets to be race essentialist while claiming it's race antiessentialist. Very hard to pin down if it's race essetnialist or not, because it's taken essentialism/anti-essentialism, collided them in the dialectic, producing a new thing that's hard to fight called Structural Determinism.

#### Structural Determinism
Structural Determinism is the logic behind how they organize society. When they say things like positionality must be consciously engaged, or intentionally engaged (Robin D'Angelo), that's what they're talking about. Taking structural determinism into account.

It allows them to be essentialist while claiming anti-essentialism, and it keeps people from seeing what they're doing and identifying how they're actually racist. By claimining an imposed lived experience that people aren't allowed to buck. So they hit a dialectical synthesis of these two ideas. This is what's going on whent he dialectic progresses until another deeper intersectional group is found. The dialectic is constantly progressing through an arc of history.

The entire concept of intersectionality is also a huge dialectical machine. Turns critique into itself by taking already so-called marginalized activist groups and dialectically attacks them. Feminists have to confront their racism. Black liberationists have to confront their sexism and misogyny. Everyone has to confront their homophobia or transphobia. Intersectionality becomes the synthesis of the otherwise competing forms of systemic oppression.

Solidarity becomes the synthesis of these competing forms, or in this case, it becomes intersectionality.

Marcuse said we need to biologically change mankind to want and need liberation, and that this would be done by changing them biologically to get a new type of man, liberated man, who can tolerate and usher-in liberation.

His eugenics is another topic, but the point is that the dialectical critique is: Aufheben der kulture. To create solidarity, allegedly, by evoking the guilt of the so-called marginalized identities in that they are ignoring the oppression of other people.

Critical Race Theory, Queer Theory, etc as means to tear everything down, Intersectionality is the means to synthesize and put it all back together. The dialectical synthesis of the competing forms of systemic oppression. And it gives an analytical framework, allegedly, for working that out and establishing a hierarchy which is an inversion fo what Patricia Collins called the Matrix of Domination.

#### Inception outside of Europe
The core of the progressive thought for 200 years has been this dialectic. That's the point to drive home with all of this: Hegel unleashed it in an applicable form and this became the main OS of teh "left" since.

The dialectic is the OS of leftism, has been since the young Hegelians took it up in the 1820s/30s right up until today.

The concept of Manifest Destiny, often charged by the Left as being catastrophe which destroyed native americans - it wasn't exactly a conservative metanarrative. It was championed by the Young Democracts. Parallel to the Young Hegelians, adopted their philosophy etc. They used these ideas, including manifest destiny in the 1830s/40s in the US to what a lot of people see as calamity. As a final capstone to that line, Steven Douglas who lost a debate to Abraham Lincoln, was an avowed hegelian and young hegelian as well. This was happening in the US, not just Europe, in terms of thought and activism.

## How it works Aufheben
*To keep and to destroy.*

Hegel was fascinated by this idea of keeping and destroying. He writes in the "Science of Logic":

"Aufheben constitutes one of the most important concepts in philosphy. It has a 2-fold meaning in the language. It means to preserve, to maintain, and equally it means to decease and put an end to. It is a delight to speculative thought, to find in the language words which have in themselves a speculative meaning."

This was Hegel talking about his fascination with the term Aufheben. I'm going to make the contention that Aufheben is the negation process. When HEgel lays out abstract, negative, concrete - it is the negative process. The Antithesis process.

I derived an example from a friend Emmy on Twitter who pointed out:
1. I might say that the Sky is blue
2. A straight negation might be to say "no it's not blue", or you could negate by implication by saying "it's green, it's red, it's grey"
3. Aufheben would say: "Not at night". "Not when it's raining".

It has a feeling of deliberately missing the point. You didn't tear down the blue, you can keep it, but you have torn down the concrete sense that the idea was right in the first place. Instead you reach a synthetic view of the sky that's more complicated. It's only blue during daylight hours, etc.

This is an annoying tool that the dialectic proceeds upon. Since he uses this word speculative over and over, it's important to point out that he was a "Speculative idealist" as a philosopher. Speculative means looking into a mirror. Speculum is a mirror in latin (sort of). Hegel meant: the way to understand ideas is to reflect upon them, and the purpose of reflecting upon the ideas is to recollect what is known about them in an abstract sense.

It's also to divide the concrete from facing its idea and the negation at the same time. Aufheben is speculative in that it contains a place where you have the thing and its opposite reflecting back on one another at the same time. Aufheben is, in a sense, an autological word that is aufhebening itself. (Germenglish. Aufhebening).

This is going to be key to moving into the trajectory of Hegel's metaphysics. He has a metaphysical assumption that the particular can only be understood through the whole, and speculation is how you accomplish that. The recovery of teh whole through a speculative thought process of recollection and remembering is going to be able to be achieved through exAMINING the particular and their antitheses through the dialectic. This is the objective of philosphy, or reason (vernoomft). This makes Hegel hermetic, and hermetic means an alchemist. This is his philosophical orientation, because the alchemy is achieved through the dialectic, which is the fire which heats the contents of ideas in its alembic and gives rise to their refined or synthetic understanding. It's the process in which ideas are to be refined alchemically - kept and destroyed. Marcuse refers to this as peeling off the power of the current era so that the seed within can sprout. Heremtists believe, for example, that seeds of gold exist in all the base metals. So if you just get the base parts to peel away, then the seed of gold will sprout and blossom nad the base metal will turn into gold.

This is the underlying idea of Hegelian thought. So when we say it's a hermetic or alchemical faith, this is what we're talking about.

Important to realize that what HEgel actually means by speculative is having Mystical Content. It's Mystical, mysticism. It's going to open the door to a lto of things for Hegel that he already was: Heremticism, alchemy, gnosticism.

This is why all these ideologies can be thought of as gnosticism. Race gnosticism, for example, in CRT. Structurally-determined lived experiences have special insight under standpoint epistemology that gives them to ability to undesrtand things and have racial knowledge. That's gnosticism, that's racial or ethnic gnostisticism, and this is because the Hegelian faith is itself gnostic. They're open to being gnostic because it's speculative, which means mystical. The people who know the secret are the gnostics, tehy understand the mysticism, they have the special knowledge, and for Hegel he defines this as having reason, or vernoomft.

We will see this develop as we go on into metaphysics. Hegel is already thinking metaphysically and he's thinking alchemically about the progression of society. The catechism of his religion is the dialectic through keeping and destroying, aufheben.

### Features
Words are given more than one meaning (democracy, tolerance). Alchemically developing separate meanings to words so you can talk in two ways at once. The ones who understand the language are the gnostics. In modern parlance, the systemic way of thinking and understanding the world, as opposed to understanding the words or the concepts in a more simple way.

Marx did this with the term "science". Science was used to mean scientific socialism (espoused that socialism scientific). Marxism and his communism which he labelled as scientific.

Communists did this with Freedom, Democracy and Tolerance. They made Communism a precondition for all of these things.

We see this also with speculative meanings - invite gnosticism into the understanding of words. You can do this with Diversity, Racism, Segregation, Decolonialization - sophist's double speak characteristic of Hegelian ideologies.

#### Lennon
Sublation (vulgar translation of Aufheben). Supercede, put an end to but simultaneously maintain and preserve.

#### Marcuse
Talks about it in Essy on the Affirmative Character of culture.

"It is the real miracle of the affirmative culture: people can feel happy even if they are not. If the culture has entered a western thought only as an affirmative thought the abolition of its affirmative character will act as an

They never seem to realize that every oppressive behaviour they set into motion will elicit its effect upon them, whether directly or not. Thinking and speaking are universal needs which are necessary for any human. If we restrict these things, it is not simply tha we are ridding our society of the worst ideas, but that we will become less able to think, understand and know. Perhaps it's the case that we needn't think or understand, but then we must understand what it is to exist without thought. Surely the case is made that existence is, actually, at least insofar as a human being is concerned, nothing more than sensory, and that the belief of thought is an illusion itself.

One might make the case that there are false ideas out there which can damage, sabotage and hijack the thinking process, and that very well may be true, but the fact is that the method of silencing speech in hopes of preventing the wrong type of thought is, ultimately, in a generic sense, a method of preventing and silencing thought, and so one must ask if the reason one wishes to rationalize, excuse and facilitate the mechanism of silencing thought might be because they want to silence their own thoughts.

# The Mask Or The Poppy

A tweet reads "Pick a side, wear a mask or wear a poppy - you can't wear both"

Ignoring as to whether, indeed, anyone did bother to wear both simultaneously, it really is a good thought exercise to think through such an action, its implications insofar as what it signifies and communicates, why anyone might be compelled to do a thing, and if it indeed makes more sense to wear one or the other

## Inclinations
The inclination for such a tweet is likely the idea that the poppy pays respect to those who fought against the Axis forces in the second world war, and taht the wearing of the mask is an acknowledgment of laws/policies and philosophies that bear similarity or congruence/compatibility with those of the Axis.

The inclination to refute such a claim/suggestion is something on which we need to brainstorm a little:
- Obeying our own laws, both then and now
- Keeping the peace, in all scenarios
- Trying to save lives
- Abiding by COVID directives is doing our part to fight in a battle or war against the "enemy"
- The refusal to wear a mask itself is more in line with the thinking of the Axis

Let us examine these points in greater detail.

## Obeying Laws
We live in a society of laws, and it is our civic duty to obey them. Of course, we recognize that Nazi Germany had unjust and immoral laws, but we haven't produced such a society because we aren't conducting or allowing the same degree of atrocity, such as blatant genocide, and if we were, it would be bloody obvious.

In fact, we are preventing transformation to such a society by following the directives which are philosophically opposed to the ideals of the right. These directives have clear intentions declared for all to see, as a transparent gesture, thus it makes perfect sense to follow them if we are indeed oriented towards avoiding Fascism and oppression.

This presupposes that our state and ideals are perfectly incongruent to that of Fascism, and that we can trust the state to pre-examine and vet the policies on our behalf. It further assumes we can simply follow suite with supporting them, simply by virtue of the declared high-level principles of the party in power.

To continue making the pro-obedience argument, we can say that as these laws are instantiated to save lives, that to not follow them would, in fact, be in line with putting lives at risk, thus the decision to follow or not follow is akin to deciding whether to save lives (and remember, saving lives is what heroes do).

## Keeping the Peace
The next argument for supporting the perspective fo wearing both a mask and a poppy is that you are aiming to reduce conflict by being accepting and compatibel with positions that could theoretically be at odds with one another, and that by doing so , you are laying out the procedure to transcend each otherwise limited view/understanding.

So that would be making the case on the basis of there being some new precedent for a given perspective, or that we solve problems through agreement thus this maintains the spirit necessary to for an agreement to ever be reached. A noble task for a nobleman - suitable to be impressive.

## Trying to Save Lives
We touched on this already, but we can split it up further into working through the intentions to save lives and verifying/computing what the net benefit for mitigating threat of death is really doing.

But really we always have to come back to the same issue: at what point do you believe that it becomes morally defensible to harm others? Because you can say that their existence, such as it is, is harmful to others, but you must still make the case that it is, indeed, not only harmful, but all the ways in which they are harmful in various contexts and across various time scales. Perhaps a coefficient with valence equivalent to the factor of imposed change on the potential of tragedy and evil.

In this situation, however, there is no making of such a case, because that whole negotiation has been replaced with emergency powers which themselves perform whatever work it deems necessary to assure itself and others that a given standard has been met. This is, without competition, the single most causative factor by which the state understands its success and, perhaps more importantly, its productivity.

So to validate it, we must be willing to make the case that such an authoritarian element needs to always be present, and that case isn't predicated on a specific instance or threshold of risk, but a fundamental belief that it is acceptable not only to allow for such decision-making to be delegated to an external process, but to furthermore acknowledge that the collateral damage of doing so is acceptable. This must be an act of faith, or a position of faith, for transcendance, or for revenge -> perhaps for evermore reasons than ever before.

## Questions
What could possibly be the goal of permanently enabling such a process? Is it simpl the feeling of being unsafe? Or is it something more? Perhaps there is a new opportunity in the wake of it all. What sort of opportunity reveals itself in a phenomenon which constrains human movement and expression by a degree not otherwise seen so broadly in the modern, developed world?

## Opportunity For Force
*To force something that would not be otherwise feasible.*

The application of force to society, one's enemies, oneself, and so forth. You can exact your revenge on the world, or force others to commit their mind/time to that of your own choosing.

## Full Circle
No matter how fare we deviate, or seem to, we cannot break apart from the prevailing issue of life. You were brought into being, and though it cannot be known whether you had a say in accepting the proposition of life, we must assume that you did not and that you were simply brought into existence. What did this cause?

- It assured you that your perception would be bound to the human body.
Some might call this a prison, or a curse, as the body brings with it all sorts of consequences of its own.

- It brought you death -> just one consequence, and arguably the most noteworthy
- It brought you emotional attachment to that which is not eternal, everlasting and infinite. The very idea that something could cease to be is cause for its own to prompt the human to experiencing some manner of anxiety associated with the idea of something transforming out of being, and into nothingness.

## Coping
We have coping mechanisms to mitigate the challenges of holding these manners of thought. And so when the proposition presents that our very anxiety can be countered or prevented by following particular directions, we must ask if anxiety is already caused by the source of such directives, and whether the net effect is even legitimately something which should or could be calculated. Because, for every coping mechanism and mitigatory strategy you are applying, you are potentially not applying another. Masking and staying at home as a mitigatory measure is replacing environmental exposures which yield their own psychological, physiological and immunological effects.

What can be computed and compared? What are the base behaviours? How does the new behaviour modulate existing ones? What qualifies the adopting of a new behaviour? Particularly if unprecedented? Surely it can't be only one dimension of consideration - infection of SARS-CoV2.

Mass delusions serve as a coping mechanism, or lead to coping mechanisms both in their adopting and their denial
