where is the dividing line between political discourse and all discourse is all discourse political? what makes it political? that it relates to public affairs and governance so then that means that everything can be political, from the moment that there is any sort of community so when we say that there is a corrupt political discourse, or that political discourse is inherently corruptible, that isn't necessarily the case sure we can say that it has a tendency to become corrupt but it is us who becomes corrupt we need to keep our eyes on the ball we need to understand what it is we are seeking, what we are deliberating over if we already have an understanding that there is political side which is more or less correct, then we have lost that integrity ythere is no way to uncover the good ideas if there is any sort of preconceived division over the issue wherein there are beliefs that one side has a less incorrect understanding of it but, we nevertheless DO need to engage these issues, because it affects us regardless of whether we attempt to guide the discourse or not when others have the discourse, it affects us, at least in theory it should now, one could make the argument that one's own pursuits are more important and yield effects whose significance is so great that the effect of the political discourse does not even register at scale but that is a separate discussion and it still doesn't solve the circumstance of subjects which, regardless of their being political, are important for one to have discourse over to formulate na opinion about as that exists, there is still a need to have discourse which may or may not be believed to be political so then we come full circle and enter back into a recurring behaviour and yet somehow we believe that we can make progress doing this, by supporting or participating in a process which deems itself to be refining the governance of all people, including ourselves but what if that process of refinement is inching us closer towards the exact circumstances which we posit to be the motivation for the discourse in the first place, then it becomes an unreasonable proposition and to do it recurringly is a proposition for insanity so why would we wish to engage with that? is there not something more productive to be done? yes - it would have to be the conceptualization of solutions and the seeking of their development and we can do that independently, we needn't a politically charged body to support us we needn't utilize politics to manipulate those who would otherwise impede our effort into accepting or, as is more the case in the current time, supporting them politically_corrupt_discourse.md exit
